A reverse logistics inventory model with multiple production and remanufacturing batches under fuzzy environment

In the last few years, inventory modeling with reverse logistics has received more attention from both academic world and industries. Most of existing works in literature believed that newly produced products remanufactured have same quality. However, many industries, customers do not consider as good new ones. Therefore, this study develops a model multiple production remanufacturing batches (cycles) under fuzzy environment where are subordinate quality compared to products. As precise estimation cost parameters such holding cost, setup etc. becomes often difficult; so these represented triangular numbers. Used purchased, screened then suitable remanufactured. The rates demand dependent. main goal is obtain optimal policy minimizes total per unit time proposed system. signed distance method employed defuzzify function. A numerical example presented demonstrate developed model. Finally, sensitivity analysis executed impact key on solution.
